Winter Hideaway

Since it was assembled a week ago, we have been ignoring this cute gingerbread house that Mom Paula from Sweet Purrfections brought for us when she saw the head peep in November. Over the weekend, it had to be moved out of the sunroom so we could take some photos without it in the middle of the floor. It ended up against the little wall behind the living room chair that no one ever pays attention to.

A perfect kitty hideaway! We obviously should have asked to move it here earlier. Thank you, Mom Paula, Truffle, and Brulee. We’re going have dreams of sugarplums (that’s a kind of chicken, right?) for the rest of the holiday season right here.

Decorating for the Holidays

Pierre: I heard that the head peep was thinking about not decorating a tree for the holidays at all this year. You better believe I set her straight about that! I told her I would even help decorate so she didn’t have to do it alone.

Come on, let’s get these out of here and onto that tree so I can start knocking them back off!

This one looks really breakable. Can you put it down really low to make it easy to reach?

You didn’t listen. The entire bottom half of the tree has non-breakable ornaments.

Inspector N gave the finished product a final sign-off. Let’s get knocking those ornaments down!

Pierre’s Innocent Face

Pierre: You heard that a kitty around here got into the catnip?

It must have been some other kitty.  Is this a face that got into the catnip?

No Dignity with Catnip

One of the things that the head peep brought back with her from her trip to BarkWorld last month was a little container of catnip in what looked like a medicine bottle from Meowijuana. Newton took one look at that clever packaging and yanked a huge pawful out of the bottle, scattering it all over the floor. Pierre seemed to like having his catnip loose on the floor more than finding it inside toys!
