Newton: Ashton, come quick! I found chicken in the pantry!

Newton: But look here.

Ashton: I don’t care what it looks like. It doesn’t smell like chicken. If it’s chicken, I should be able to smell it all the way over here with my super-sniffer.

Newton: You go away and consort with other cats for almost a week, then you expect me to come out of my closet hiding place to greet you?

In the meantime, I’m making sure your clothes have plenty of fur so that any other cats you meet know you already have me.

Of course, you should never actually pack your cats in your luggage for travel. If Newton was coming along on this trip, he would be riding in style in his very own carrier.
