Location, Location, Location

Pierre: With the Christmas decorations packed safely away, that means our gingerbread house is packed away, too. One thing the humans did learn with our gingerbread house is that there was a certain spot we liked it kept, and that spot was not in the sunroom where the humans expected. It is along a short wall behind the living room chair and near the doorway to the kitchen.

Even more important, this is the view from the head peep’s desk…

When I get tired of her pulling papers out from under me on the desk, I cam come down here and keep an eye on her work without being displaced by being in the “wrong place on the desk.”

Newton: Your humans may not have heard about this, but it’s National Whipped Cream Day. Really. Tell them to look it up…. after they break out that leftover whipped cream canister you know is hiding somewhere in the refrigerator after the holidays.

Oh, this smells good!

Your humans probably have it in the refrigerator because they put it on a pie over the holidays. Or maybe they topped some fancy hot drinks with it. The head peep topped some fresh strawberries with it recently. But we kitties know what’s best…

Whipped cream, straight up!

I would apologize to any germophobes who looked at these photos, but I’m kind of busy licking the whipped cream off my lips.

Happy Gotcha Day, Newton!

Since we don’t publish on Sundays, we missed Newton’s seventh gotcha day yesterday. We’re busy making up for the missed day to him, so today we are reposting last year’s gotcha day post where he told you a bit about his own story.

Newton: I came home for the first time on January 3, 2009. I was the cutest kitten EVER. And possibly the naughtiest.

Ever since then, I’ve spent most of my time thinking about trouble.

Or acting innocent about trouble that I was already in.

Though sometimes I just chill out and take it easy. I like to take it easy with my ends going opposite directions. Why do the humans think that’s so funny?

So if you’ll excuse me, I think I need to go pounce on Ashton now, and then I’ll pretend Pierre did it. That won’t prevent me getting my special gotcha day dinner, will it?
