Ready for Independence Day

Newton: I’m ready for the Independence Day parade!

Cupcake: Mr. Newton, what happened to your mane?

Newton: This isn’t my mane. It’s my festive costume for Independence Day.

Cupcake: Can I wear a festive costume, too?

Newton: Sure, kid, try this one on.

Newton: You just slip it over your head.

Cupcake: Like this?

Newton: Well … that isn’t how I do it, but whatever works for you, kid.

Cupcake: It’s kind of big. Does this come in extra small?

Cupcake: * Whew *

Newton: I think it’s safer if I just parade by myself.

Whether you’re marching in a parade, going to a picnic, or just hanging out, we hope all of our friends who celebrate it have a happy Independence Day!

Newton: What are you doing to Pierre’s food bowl, kid?

Cupcake: I don’t see any food here. But when I go in this thing, my tail is easier to catch.

Cupcake: Have you ever tried catching your tail? It’s hard.

International Box Day

Newton: Someone got me a box for International Box Day. How thoughtful!

Newton: The roof is a little low, but it’s a very nice box.

Ashton: Nice box, Newton. But it really doesn’t look like you’re going to fit in there.

Newton: Are you calling me too fat for my box? Of course I’ll fit.

Newton: See?

Ashton: I see the box moving across the floor.

Newton: Just give me a minute. I may have to wiggle a little bit.

Ashton: * sigh * Okay, I’m waiting.

Picnic

Pierre: It’s summer, and the humans are going on a picnic! They didn’t even invite me along for quality control. I can take care of that, though.

Newton: What did they pack in there?

Pierre: It smells like bread and turkey. Sandwiches. And they didn’t plan to share!

Pierre: I like turkey, too! I think I can reach at least one of them.

Pierre: At least you can get to the sandwiches. Hurry up and grab one!

Pierre: I hear footsteps, and I’m not going to be the kitty with my nose in the picnic cooler when the head peep gets here.
