Flashback Friday: Getting Ready for Halloween

Mancat Monday

Pierre: It’s our tunnel. I haven’t seen this in months!

Were you looking at my tocks?

You didn’t think we would let the whole month go by without saying happy tocktober, did you?

The head peep always said her next cat would be special needs. But she really missed having a black cat, and black cats are hard enough to find homes for that she felt like it was time. As it happens, two of the cats who were being fostered with Purrchance to Dream were black cats. It looked like there was a match with Beau!

Beau: Where are we going? Is it my new forever home?

Newton: It’s the PTU! Wait a minute…

Pierre: Whoa, what’s going on out here?

Newton: Who are you?

Beau: Who am I? Who are YOU?

Newton and Pierre: Hmmmmm….

Beau: Didn’t anyone ever tell you that it’s not polite to stare?

Ashton: What’s all the noise out here?

Ashton: HOLY CAT! That’s not cool!

Beau: What do you mean? I’m a very cool cat.

Beau has settled in remarkably well, and he is already enjoying the programming on the big Cat TV.

We’re excited to have him in our family, and we’re so grateful to The Way Home rescue organization for taking in Beau and raising him to be such a well-adjusted young mancat.

We won a giveaway at Cat Wisdom 101 recently from Nordic Naturals. This was the first time we won a giveaway! The head peep was embarrassed because when she saw the message asking for an address, she was so excited that she responded on her phone without waiting to get home. She can’t type on that thing to save her life. The address she gave was so full of errors, she sounded like she didn’t know where we live, and it caused all kinds of confusion. Thankfully, Layla from Cat Wisdom 101 was patient, and the package arrived.

Newton: Hey, what’s in here? Is it for me… I mean us?

Actually, this was a really neat giveaway, because some of it was for the cats, and some of it was for the peeps. The box included supplements for adults, children, and pets. The supplements are going to be great because not only is it good for everybody’s health, but a little fish oil really encourages picky Pierre to eat, and he’s having trouble with the transition to canned food.
