Pierre is Innocent

Pierre: Look at this face! It’s obvious that I’m innocent and I was framed.

There’s no way that this face took a huge chunk of canned food from where I eat in the bathroom and dropped it on the living room sofa to break up and spread around before eating it. Is there?

The head peep is still under the weather. So far, we haven’t had to chase her around the house to give her medicine like she does Ashton, but she’s doing a lot of sleeping. She obviously learned that from us. She’ll be back visiting everyone’s blogs soon, she promises.

Flashback Friday: The Found Kitten Photos

While cleaning out one of the closets, the head peep found one of her old cameras with a memory card inside. The memory card had a bunch of photos from Newton’s kittenhood that weren’t stored anywhere else.

Some of the photos were of the sick little orange kitten.

And some were of little Newton ninja-snuggling Pierre. We can’t imagine Pierre allowing this to happen now!

Newton: Do you mind? I’m trying to sleep.

And then there was this outtake that was simply too funny not to share.

Newton: I’m not laughing at you. I’m laughing with you. Well, actually, I *am* laughing at you. But you can’t help it if you’re hairless like that, can you?

Mancat Monday: X Marks the Spot

We didn’t tell you… we got an X a few weeks ago.

Pierre: I don’t know about this. It’s displacing my trusty yellow submarine.

Newton: If you don’t want to be the boss of the X, get down from there. I want to take it over.

Head Peep: Boys!

Pierre: It wasn’t me!

After this, we proceeded to ignore the X completely. So the X has gone to live with Cousin Earl and Cousin Shep, who have already shown an interest in cardboard loungers and scratchers. She gave our X away! Can you believe it?

It was fun for five minutes, X!
