Girl Buddies

Cupcake: This is so great, Miss Ashton. I always wanted to hang out with you, but you never want to.

Ashton: Is that what we’re doing? I was looking for lizards. 

Cupcake: It’s what I’m doing. But I can help you look for lizards, too.

Ashton: There aren’t any lizards up here.

Cupcake: I think there’s a lizard up there!

Ashton: Where? I don’t see a lizard.

Cupcake: It’s way up there.

Ashton: I can only reach this far. And I still don’t see a lizard.

Ashton: I think you’re making this lizard up.

Cupcake: I thought it was what you wanted to hear.

Ashton: You made me chase a lizard that wasn’t there? 

Cupcake: This isn’t the kind of togetherness I had hoped for.

Frog Legs

Cupcake: Look at those! We have frogs!

Cupcake: Come here, little frogs. I want to know if Newton was right about your legs.

Cupcake: Why don’t you come inside?

Cupcake: Maybe I can reach you from this angle.

Cupcake: You’re so close! Why can’t I smell you?

Cupcake: I’m on the wrong side of the window again.

Cupcake: I’ll have to check back later to see if you are on the right side of the window yet.

Cupcake: You’re STILL on the wrong side of the window. A kitty can dream…

Guarding the Drain

Cupcake: Not fair! There’s now a thing in the drain so I can’t chase the water all the way down!

Cupcake: When the water goes down, it makes gurgly sounds.

Cupcake: I try to grab it to make it stop, but I can’t. My paw gets stopped by this thing.

Cupcake: I know you’re down there, drain monster, and I’m going to bite you. Next time.

Can’t Keep a Cat in the Bag

Newton: I heard that some of you thought on Friday I was a little bit hard on Cupcake when I told her to stay in the bag.

Newton: A handsome mancat just wants some quality time with his toys once in a while. But guess what happened? 

Cupcake: This was fun for a while, but I’m bored.

Cupcake: I don’t see any cats coming to play with me.

Cupcake: So I’d better go find some fun or myself.

Cupcake: I found you, Mr. Newton! Let’s wrestle!

Newton: Already, kid?

Newton: And that’s how it goes around here with my tuxedo shadow.
