A very old toy emerged from our coat closet, so old that the head peep had to clean corroded battery contacts to make it work again. The panic mouse is kind of an interactive cat toy for people who don’t want to wave a wand around. It had been so many years since the cats had seen it, they approached it like it was new again.
Newton: What’s this? It’s noisy, and it’s moving!
Pierre: It’s moving!
Newton: But it’s noisy….
Newton: And it flips that thing in my face. Whoa!
Newton: This one is yours, Pierre.
Pierre: No problem, I’ve got this.
Ashton: I’m not going anywhere near any of that.
Pierre: You are such a girl! I have this. Check out this move.
Pierre: I can’t wait to get my teeth into it!
Pierre: Got you! *Chomp*
Pierre: I’m putting the big bitey on you now, panic mouse!
Arrrggghh! *Chomp* *Chomp*
Pierre: See? I told you. I have it under control.
