Stinky Gifts are the Best Gifts
Newton: We had a surprise package arrive. As Inspector N, I take my job very seriously and had to give the package a thorough inspection.
The package smelled really suspcicious — I mean yummy, and I had to take a closer look at the contents. An unepxected gift from our wonderful, faraway friends at The Furries of Whisppy!
Oh, this is definitely the stink I smelled inside the package.
How do you get this thing open, anyhow?
It won’t open! I smell it, but I can’t get it open! *WHAP*
Oh, thank COD.
Playing with the real toy is so much better than playing with the packaging.
What, you wanted to play with this, too? Sorry, you’ll have to get your own.
Ashton: Newton, don’t make it sound like they just sent presents to you.
Newton: Of course they did!
Ashton: No, they didn’t. I have a great catnip stick here. I bet Tutu picked it out for me herself.
I don’t usually like catnip, but I sure like this.
This is my new “catnip is awesome” face.
*Nom Nom Nom*
Pierre: This is some GOOD nip!
Ashton: Wait, there’s more? That’s the good stuff. It’s mine!
Newton: While Ashton is chasing Pierre around, I’ll just take this.
Thank you, kitties from Whisppy, for these pawesome nip toys. We are having a blast with them!
Happy Father’s Day!
Newton: I am a manly cat. I like things best when it’s just the guys. I love visiting repairmen and even the man in brown shorts. And my favorite person in the whole world is the manpeep.
Most of us kitties don’t know our feline fathers. But for all of you out there who have father figures in your lives, whether they are the cats who taught you manners when you were a kitten or the food guy who slips you a little extra at breakfast, I wish all of your father-types a very happy Father’s Day!
Flag Day
Newton: What’s this? It doesn’t look edible.
Here in the United States, it’s Flag Day, which means I’m expected to pose next to a small flag. Do you think that when Woodrow Wilson officially established the anniversary of the adoption of the flag, he could possibly have imagined all of the cats and dogs in the blogosphere who are going to have to sit next to, under, or on top of flags for photos today?
I don’t, either. But you can’t tell peeps anything.
Happy Flag Day, everybody. And even more important, happy Caturday!
