Are You Going To Finish That?

Pierre: The only problem with dining treeside instead of alone in a room like I usually do is that I have company.

Ashton: We’re having company?

Pierre: I’m talking about you, Ash. I don’t mind when the humans are around, but there’s something about the way you stare while I’m eating…

Ashton: I’m not staring at you, I’m staring at your food.

Pierre: Oh, well then it shouldn’t bother me at all to have you stare at my food while I’m trying to eat it. Is there something you want?

Ashton: Well, since you asked…. Are you going to finish that?

Ashton: You’ll never guess what was on our cat TV this week!

It was a bald eagle. I don’t understand why they called it bald, because it looked all covered up to me, but the head peep got pretty excited and ran outside to take photos of it.

After she had come back inside and started to download photos of the eagle onto her PC, I told her to look again.

There was a second eagle, and it was looking for the first eagle’s tasty lunch!

The head peep ran back outside with her camera, only to discover that the memory card was still in the PC. So she had to run back inside to get it.

I thought there was way too much running in and out going on. Thankfully, the eagles didn’t pay any attention. The first eagle was busy giving the second eagle the same look that Pierre gives me when I start trying to sneak up on his dinner.

Still watching the second eagle, the first eagle ate his prey really fast so that the second eagle couldn’t steal it. I would have done that, too. I guess eagles aren’t so different from cats after all!

Ashton: It’s a special day today. One where we get to eat turkey! And you’re such special friends, we wish we could share a little bit of our share of the turkey with you, too.

Newton: Or whipped cream.

Ashton: You wouldn’t share the whipped cream. You don’t even share it with me!

Newton: Shh, Ash. I’m trying to make our friends feel special and loved.

Pierre: The way you make them feel special and loved is by saying something heartfelt. Like this… We are so thankful to have friends like you around the blogosphere and beyond. Thank you for sharing a little of your time with us. You make us smile every single day, and we’re very thankful for friends like you!
