Ashton: You’ll never guess what was on our cat TV this week!
It was a bald eagle. I don’t understand why they called it bald, because it looked all covered up to me, but the head peep got pretty excited and ran outside to take photos of it.
After she had come back inside and started to download photos of the eagle onto her PC, I told her to look again.
There was a second eagle, and it was looking for the first eagle’s tasty lunch!
The head peep ran back outside with her camera, only to discover that the memory card was still in the PC. So she had to run back inside to get it.
I thought there was way too much running in and out going on. Thankfully, the eagles didn’t pay any attention. The first eagle was busy giving the second eagle the same look that Pierre gives me when I start trying to sneak up on his dinner.
Still watching the second eagle, the first eagle ate his prey really fast so that the second eagle couldn’t steal it. I would have done that, too. I guess eagles aren’t so different from cats after all!

Well, we gotta admit, we would NOT go outside where you are!
Wow! I’ve never even seen one bald eagle, never mind two. You must have the premium channel on Bird TV, huh? Sounds like a super channel, for sure.
Purrs,
Nissy
That is so cool! The kind of Bird TV we NEVER get around here.
Ashton we love to go outside but we are ashamed to say we would have been a little bit scared by that bald eagle.
Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
That is nice that you can see that out your window. We see ospreys here all the time but there are only a few bald eagles in the area. Here is a photo of a bald eagle and two adolescents in a nest. They are in a state park three miles from our house. https://www.flickr.com/photos/charleshuss/5453817641/in/set-72157623107334663
Wow, that’s some big birdie! But you’re right…it doesn’t look bald.
That is pretty cool, Ashton. We think the first one was smart to eat his dinner fast so the other one couldn’t steal it, too.
Wow, that was very exciting to have two Bald Eagles there. Great pictures. Have a great Friday.
Now those are some mighty fancy birds!!!
Very cool!
We are pretty impressed by our bird TV here at our new house (in fact, I am posting about it today) but so far it is nothing like that!
Mr Jinx says he was more excited seeing you Miss Ashton than those big birdies.
That second Bald Eagle was a bit of a chancer hoping to get the first one’s dinner. You have great TV.
WOW!!! That is pawesome!! You guys get some pretty sweet TV channels!
That’s amazing bird tv. I’d like to see an eagle, as long as it’s far away and I’m safe in the house. Mom got to hold one when she voluntered at a bird rehab center. They have Impressive feet & talons.
WOW! That’s one, er, two big birds! We only have geese and they aren’t naked at all. MOL! Purrs….
Now that is something that you don’t see everyday! Thanks for sharing this with us.
OMC He’s huge!
Happy Be-Lated Thanksgiving to you!!
Wow ! We’ve never seen a bald eagle ! It’s very impressive ! That’s the best Bird TV show ever ! Purrs
your cat TV was AWESOME for sure! I don’t have photos BUT…we have had a Cooper’s Hawk come three times now to hunt around our bird feeder in our back yard. This hawk is very determined…
Well…too bad you didn’t get to EAT both eagles!
Just sayin’.
Holy CAT. That’s definitely the PREMIUM BirdTV Channel!!
Woweee, mum hasn’t ever seen a bald eagle, while we have seen hawks in our own yard.
Whoa! Aren’t those things distinct? I think that means they smell. did your head smell anything funny.
Wow that is BEYOND COOL!!! I can’t imagine seeing a Bald Eagle in my own yard! You are so lucky!
That is very special, you and the Head Peep must have been very excited to witness this!
