Pierre: Hey, Ashton.

Ashton: Hmm?

Pierre: Want to hear a joke?

Ashton: Sure.

Pierre: A cat walks into a bar–

Ashton: What’s a bar?

Pierre: Well… I’m not sure. I think it’s like a house, but has more peeps in it.

Ashton: How does the cat open the door?

Pierre: What?

Ashton: Well, does the bar have a door? Our house has a door, and we can’t open it to go out. You got closed out on the porch and couldn’t open it to come back in, either. So how does the cat open the door to go into the bar?

Pierre: I don’t know. It shouldn’t matter.

Ashton: But it does matter. I need to visualize this.

Pierre: Well… A dog opened it.

Ashton: THERE’S A DOG IN THIS JOKE? I changed my mind. I don’t think I want to hear this.

Pierre: *sigh*

Ashton update: We got new compounded liquid Baytril yesterday, and Ashton won’t touch it voluntarily. So much for it being compounded into an appetizing flavor! The head peep got one dose into Ashton, but afterward, she wouldn’t even come into the kitchen to eat dinner while the head peep was in the room. We have no idea how anyone will get hold of her to give more of the 13 remaining doses, but we’ll try to think of something.

Mancat Monday: Just Can’t Get Away

Newton:The jungle cat lurks alone in his territory, sleek and dangerous….

Newton: Suddenly, the jungle cat notices an intruder.

Ashton: There’s a jungle cat? Where?

Newton: *sigh*

Ashton: I don’t smell a jungle cat anywhere. But you smell like… ewww you stepped in something.

Newton: Then stop sniffing me there! Geez. Girlcats. Always with the sniffing.

Easy Like Sunday With Newton

Newton: It has been cold here recently. You non-Florida cats will laugh at our idea of cold, but we aren’t used to anything approaching freezing at night.

The head peep got out the heated throw, and it has been on the bed the past few nights. I may have more fur than everyone else, but that just means I appreciate warmth more.
