Ashton: After our cold days, it’s open-window weather again, and that means hanging out on the porch!

Ashton: * SNIFF * Oh, that outside air smells so good! It’s tome for some serious rolling around on the concrete.

Pierre: Excuse me, coming through. I get to go out onto the porch first because I’m the oldest.

Ashton: Wait a minute. I haven’t ever heard of this “older cats get to go first” rule before. Is this a real thing?

Newton: Of course it is!
Ashton: But —

Newton: Make way, I’m on my way out. I’m older than you are, too, Ash.

Ashton: I would remember if this happened before. They’re both making this up.

Ashton: At it’s my turn now. Unless there are some other neighborhood cats who are going to crowd out there before I can get to the porch.

Ashton: Finally!

Where do YOU kitties live that you get to go out on the PORCH? Here in Connecticut it’s still a-snowing and a-sleeting!
We are in Florida, where winter comes in fits and starts. Thankfully, we don’t get snow.
Well, there is a saying “age before beauty”!
Gees, that was a long wait! At least you FINALLY got a turn out there.
It’s snow, sleet, ice pellets (and later rain) here today, no outdoor time for us, that’s for sure.
Purrs and peace.
It gets crowded at our doorway too Ashton!
Taking a walk on the wild side I see…
Ohhhhhhhhhhhh fresh breezes gently blowing against my furs feels so good
Hugs madi your bfff
They are totally making up that rule! How is the smell of the outside today kitties?
I agree Ashton, they must be making that rule up. I am glad you got some outdoor time even if you had to wait. There is nothing better than outdoor smell.
Aww… glad you are enjoying yourselves!
Purrs xx
Athena and Marie
I’m glad you finally got your turn to go out on the porch, Ashton! And I think you might want to investigate the boys’ so-called rules. They sound a bit shady.
We’ve been having nice, open window weather here in Illinois, too. That is, until today. Now we’re in the midst of a blizzard. I’m glad you all are enjoying some lovely sun, though! Purrs!
Hm. I don’t agree with this “older cats” thing at all – and trust me, I hear it all the time from Binga!
Oh, I’m not the oldest one here, hmmmmm.
ashton…that is such a total boys lie, there is NO RULE that even states that; I am attaching a “girl cat’s rule handbook” ….here @
and I DARE either of them to find THE page that specifies such
indeed…hugs girl from dai$y =^..*= ♥♥♥
so long as you get out there and they don’t just stop in the doorway and block it… 🙂
Whoa! I didn’t think you guys were allowed outside. Ad listen to Dai$y. She speaks the truth.
Tell them it is ladies first!
Ashton, I know all about pushy boycats! It’s best to push back. ~Zoey
Ashton, brothers are a royal pain, aren’t they!?
~Caroline!
Sweet Ashton, I hope you got the patio all to yourself finally. Fresh air is so wonderful!
Some cats just make up the rules as they go! …I speak from experience.
; ) Katie
Warm days and open doors are so nice! TBT left our deck door open enough to get out today (it got to 62F). But it was also raining, so we had to stay unner the roof overhang… But that was better than nothing.
Age before beauty!
At least you’re being patient. Around here my brother Monkey pushes me around and I would not have even had a chance.
Next time tell those boy cats that the youngest gets to go first, MOL! I hope you enjoyed your time on the porch.
Purrs,
Lita
It doesn’t matter who goes first just as long as you all get to enjoy the porch. We are so sick and tired of bad weather. It’s either bitter cold, snowing, raining or the wind is blowing super hard. We want spring. Enjoy the porch. You are lucky kitties. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
Well Ashton, that was very nice of you to let those boys go first. Next time, you get to go first. I bet that is so nice to be able to go on the porch.
Nothing’s better than a catio on a warm spring day. Enjoy it!
