The head peep missed meeting the folks from MeowBox.net in person at Global Pet Expo, but they kindly offered to send one of their monthly MeowBoxes for us to review. A MeowBox is a monthly subscription box filled with different goodies every time, and we couldn’t wait to see what would be in the box with the smiling cat on it when it arrived.
Pierre: What’s in there?
Newton: It smells pawesome! Can we open it now? Please?
Newton: It comes wrapped in nice paper, but I would rather have what’s inside. I will get back to destroying the tissue paper later.
Pierre: I’m tired of waiting for photos to be done so we can get to the opening part.
Ashton: Pierre! I don’t think you’re supposed to be doing that.
Pierre: It’s a Skinneeez toy! We got one of these from our secret paw, but I never get to play with it because it’s Newton’s favorite thing.
Newton: Hey, is that what I think it is? Pawesome!
Pierre: Nope. Go play with your own unstuffy. This one is mine!
Pierre: *sigh* Are you done taking pretty pictures with my new toy yet? I want it back.
Pierre: Yessssss!
Ashton: While Pierre is busy with his unstuffy up there… do I smell something to eat in here? Because I’m good at eating.
Ashton: *sniff* *lick* Hmm, I don’t know about this, Newton. It’s supposed to be Groovy Gravy. What does groovy mean?
Newton: *sniff* *taste* Yeah, I don’t know, either, Ash. Maybe we’ll ask to have it sent to our cousins. They aren’t as fussy as we are about food.
Newton: Hey, can I check out the catnip marker? Don’t mind the drool I’m getting on it. That’s a sign of appreciation.
Newton: *sniff sniff* You said it’s called SuperCat, but it doesn’t smell like a super cat. It does smell a lot better than those markers you use to make squiggly lines on paper!
Ahston: Hey, don’t forget this package of Smart n Tasty dental treats! I’m really good at treats!
(If the video of us licking the last of the treat dust off of the head peep’s fingers doesn’t show for you, you can visit it directly here.)
The other thing that came in the package was a Play & Squeak toy to play with at night. It dangles from a doorknob, and the eyes light up when you whack it. We refuse to play with it when there is a camera in the room, but it’s lots of fun.
Newton: I can’t wait for the head peep to forget to put it away before bedtime and start making it squeak in the middle of the night!
The box from MeowBox was a huge hit. We love that there was such a variety of creative and interesting things included. There were things to eat and things to play with, so that some of the things were things we would do alone and others were things that involved the head peep. All of the things in the box are top quality, and we really enjoyed the chance to play with them. MeowBoxes are $25 a month from their site, MeowBox, and they bring $25-50 worth of fun goodies to your doorstep. Multiple month subscriptions save more but bring the same cool stuff, and your peeps never have to worry about where you hid the car keys to go to the pet store for your toys and treats.
Newton: Now if you’ll excuse me, I think there may be some tissue paper I didn’t destroy yet.
