Hoping for an Easy Sunday

Thanks to all of you for your kind comments yesterday about Beau. It was really hard to let him go back to his foster home, and the head peep had leaky eyes most of the day.

The rest of us are all still not sure whether it’s secure to be out in the open, but we are looking forward to being able to do this without fear.

In the meantime, we are going to enjoy being able to get up on the bed during the night again. We missed it!

We have been on a commenting hiatus for the month while the head peep participates in NaNoWriMo, so we will may be slow to make our way around and thank you all individually for your kind comments. But we will get there. Please know that we appreciate all of them — and all of you.

Newton is Unimpressed

Newton is wearing his very best unimpressed face. He knows how to show true catlike ennui.

Newton: What is it, Ashton? Are you trying to figure out what ennui smells like?

Newton: Pose with me and we’ll both show them what you know how to look unimpressed, too. Wait, that’s looking hungry. Stop thinking about food. Okay better….

What do all of you think? Is she ever going to learn?

Thanks to all of you who have asked about how Newton’s sniffles are. He seems to be feeling better now.

We’re still waiting for the head peep to finish NaNoWriMo. so we can start commenting again. In the meantime, we’re mostly running scheduled posts and keeping up on everybody’s news as best we can. We’ll be able to comment again when the word thermometer fills up.

Tummy Tuesday

We can’t visit to comment for a few weeks because the head peep is using her commenting time to participate in NaNoWriMo. We have some posts scheduled, and we will try to read and keep up with everyone’s news. But we won’t really be able to visit everybody properly until the head peep fills up this thermometer with words:

Pierre: (whispers) Watch this….

Ashton: Ooh, it’s the crinkle tunnel. And it’s crinkling!

Ashton: Let’s go see why it’s making that noise.

Pierre: Surprise!

Ashton: WHOA!
