A Straw for Two

Newton: I conquered the yellow straw, so it’s your turn, little orange straw.

Newton_straw_01_wm

Pierre: What do you have, Newt? that looks fun!

Newton: *mrrrrrffff*

Newton_Pierre_straw_01_wmPierre: Can I try?

Newton: Oh, no. This straw is much too wild for you to handle. It’s orange, like me. And you know how naughty I am. The straw is even naughtier.

Pierre: Nothing could be as naughty as you.

Newton: See? There it goes! Watch out! Orange straw on the loose!

Newton_Pierre_straw_02_wmPierre: Here, let me —

Newton: I got it. Back off, Pierre. Leave this to a pro. It might take all weekend to take this straw.

Newton_Pierre_straw_03_wmPierre: *sigh* I didn’t want to play with it anyhow. I’m going to go break into the catnip drawer instead.

Good idea Pierre to break into the nip drawer. Newton, we know you will control that wild straw. Take care.

Poor Pierre. Maybe after you get into the nip and entice Newton over for a sniff he’ll let you play with his straw.

Pierre, we have to stick together and stand up for all of the gray kitties in the world! I like catnip MUCH better than some silly old straw anyway! Love, Cody

So cute and amusing. Thanks for putting a smile on our sickly mom’s face. She and Dad have been passing some respiratory thing back and forth since before Christmas, and she hasn’t been giving us much of an opportunity to visit.
