Relaxing on Labor Day

Ashton: Hey, Pierre?

Pierre: Zzzzzzzzzz…..

Ashton: PIERRE?

Pierre: Hmm? What? Is it dinner time?

Ashton: Why is it important for us to observe labor day? We cats don’t labor. We do everything we can to avoid anything like labor.

Pierre: You woke me up for that? It’s the end of the summer. For a lot of humans, this is their last chance to have cookouts and stuff.

Ashton: It’s about food? I can celebrate that!

Pierre: Not exactly about food. Everything isn’t always about food.

Ashton: Want to bet?

Pierre: * SIGH *

Ashton: Okay, okay, what else is it about?

Pierre: It’s about the weather. Leaves will start falling off of trees near the houses of some of our friends soon, and it will be cool out.

Ashton: And we can have the windows open so I can smell the wild?

Pierre: Soon. We’re in Florida, so it gets here later. For now, go back to sleep and enjoy relaxing on Labor Day.

Ashton: I’m going to dream about open windows. And chicken.

We hope that our friends who are celebrating the end of summer with Labor Day are enjoying the holiday!

Happy laboring Labor Day. We blogging cats still have to pose for the flashy box today and that’s a lot of work.
