Ashton just found out what happened to Newton when he went to the V.E.T. the other day. She is not a brush fan either, but at least she has short fur. The other two LOVE the brush, so much so that it lives in the “magic drawer” and it only comes out to visit.
This is Newton’s second time needing this particular body part man-scaped. The first time went off without much ado. This time both pits were fairly nappy and he was a little, how shall we say, less cooperative.
The self-lit clippers were super neat, but Newt wasn’t really into them.
Yes, it did take two techs and the V.E.T. to shave one cat’s armpit hair. We are sure once he is done being mad and humiliated, he will be proud of himself.
Newton had to visit the V.E.T. today (he is not sick, just needed a little manscaping). Tomorrow’s blog will talk about the procedure. But beforehand, he had to see what this place was about.
The Inspector left no nook unchecked.
No seat un-sniffed.
Newt made sure all light fixtures were in working order.
He checked to ensure they were issuing the appropriate cleaning products.
He even checked on the integrity of their rubber gloves. He was quite thorough.

Although Nellie is thought to be 8 or 9 years old (she is a rescue, so we don’t know her exact age), before she came here to visit, she never really got cat toys to play with.
She is not shy about playing with them, now. In fact, they are bringing out her second kitten hood!
