Although Nellie is thought to be 8 or 9 years old (she is a rescue, so we don’t know her exact age), before she came here to visit, she never really got cat toys to play with.
She is not shy about playing with them, now. In fact, they are bringing out her second kitten hood!
Age means nothing to a kitty when there are toys to be had! Star is about 13 but still plays like kitten! Not for long though… but still, she does play!
We think that’s so sweet. Our “grandma” and her hubby took in a stray tortie, years ago now. She was young and declawed in front, and didn’t know how to play at all. Everyone speculated that she had been with an elderly person, as a only cat, and either somehow got out or was put out–perhaps after the human’s passing. She’d play a bit with her “dad,” but never really went wild.
Nellie we love your green mousie and that lovely necklace. We are so pleased you enjoy playing with your toys.
