Cats Herd You

Pierre was so excited to get a package from the FUN FUN FUNdraiser that Andrea over at Celestial Kitties was holding for Winnie’s Wish that he tore the package open. The first toy out of the envelope was put to good use right away!

Pierre wasn’t feeling much brotherly love, either.

He hung on to that toy for all it was worth.

Eventually, he wore himself out and his sibs got an opportunity to see what all of the fuss was about.

Although Newton didn’t seem as enamored with it as Pierre (there is no accounting for taste),

Ashton sure took a shine to it.

The dark cat voting block has spoken!

Pierre has been watching for the postman all week. He heard that there was a package coming from the FUN FUN FUNdraiser that Andrea over at Celestial Kitties was holding for Winnie’s Wish. Usually, the postman brings magazines… or advertisements… or bills (yuck!). But today a package arrived.

Pierre’s inspection determined that this package smelled interesting.

Really, really interesting.

So interesting that Newton had to come check it out, too.

Pierre made it clear that he was not interested in sharing the contents of this package with Newton!

Finally, impatient, Pierre decided if no one else was going to open the package, he would do it himself.

Hopefully, by tomorrow’s blog post, Pierre will have the package open so we can see what is inside.

Unlike Mr. and Mrs. Newton, the Ess hasn’t been as popular with the cousins. They got their new “friends” at the same time, but it has taken a bit longer for a relationship to grow.

Cousin Nellie has finally decided that an Ess can be her friend. It may take Earl a little longer.

Just sitting on the couch minding our own business, catching some TV with Pierre and we we look over and see this looking at us.

Sure Newton is cute, and some even say he is adoring us, but for him to just to be sitting there watching us… maybe he is plotting something big!
