Unlike Mr. and Mrs. Newton, the Ess hasn’t been as popular with the cousins. They got their new “friends” at the same time, but it has taken a bit longer for a relationship to grow.
Cousin Nellie has finally decided that an Ess can be her friend. It may take Earl a little longer.
We like our Ess better than nip!
That dumb typist of ours! We wanted her to say “with nip” not “than nip”. That’s heresy.
That ess is a cool thing, but I can see where it would take a while to figure out how to sit on it…
Hannah plays with our Ess as Lucy doesn’t like it very much – of course as Hannah has teken it over she has got very good at aiming the pompom on the spring much to Lucy’s dismay!!

Y’know, we’re not as enamoured with our Ess. We’ve had it for 3 years and it still looks like brand new because we hardly use it. Ernie likes to lay on it…that’s about it.
New things are hard to get used to. We think we’d like the Ess.
