While some fuzzy ginger kitties dislike the tummy rubs, the same cannot be said for Cousin Shepherd. In fact, (this part has to be whispered or he may find out he is adopted), he is the only kitty in the entire family that allows, let alone enjoys, the belly rubs! And who can resist that fabulous white bib?!
That nice furry tummy looks like it is being presented for rubbing or perhaps even smooching. Unless one possess a complete suit of chainmail armor or some sort of magic force field, that would be ill-advised. Newton rarely lets his chin and neck be scratched, and he likes those areas to be touched. Beware!
Cousin Shepherd is settling in to his new forever home very quickly. He is a very, very mellow kitty. He has a passion for looking out of windows. No obstacle is to great to go over, under or through to get to see out of the closest window.
In fact, this is the last sighting of these blinds. We installed verticals for safer window watching, for both Shepherd and the blinds.
