Cousin Shepherd is settling in to his new forever home very quickly. He is a very, very mellow kitty. He has a passion for looking out of windows. No obstacle is to great to go over, under or through to get to see out of the closest window.
In fact, this is the last sighting of these blinds. We installed verticals for safer window watching, for both Shepherd and the blinds.
Vertical blinds just might be the
way to go. We have replaced so many blinds, but Squirrel seems to have great fun
destroying them.

these pictures remind me of lucy. I needed to do some creative blind work in our bathroom yesterday with our blinds because she found herself a new toy!
Vertical blinds are also great as they do some fur grooming too when they push between the slats to spy on the birdies!
