No Monorail Monday

20130714-212919.jpg

After all of that hard technical support Pierre had to do over the weekend to get our blog properly functioning, the regularly scheduled monorail will not be running. A kitty can only labor so much before he needs his beauty sleep.

Window Seat for Two, Part Two

We rejoin our pair as we left them yesterday, deciding if they will truly be able to share an opportunity to see outside, or whether all social structure in the household will break down.

Cousin Shepard still looks a bit perturbed about Cousin Earl’s insinuation that he had bad breath. Not the best time to be backed into a corner after you have insulted you brother.

Cousin Earl has apologized, and Cousin Shep has kindly faced away to avoid spreading any additional foul odors.

A quick check to see if anyone one is watching…

And an amazing miracle even Ceiling Cat could not have predicted. The two kitties are sharing one window.

Window Seat for Two

20130711-204913.jpg

Cousin Earl and Cousin Shepherd both happen to find their way to the same window.

20130711-205044.jpg

Being kitties, they both want to look out said window at the same time.

20130711-205215.jpg

Being boy kitties, that is easier said than done. First, there will be the asking permission phase.

20130711-205413.jpg

This is followed by the smell test to see if there has been any slacking in the bathing category. Boys are notoriously bad bathers and no one wants to sit next to that funk.

20130711-205835.jpg

The next step is a breath check.

20130711-205941.jpg

It looks like Cousin Earl is suggesting that due to the close proximity, Cousin Shep may need a mint.

20130711-210125.jpg

Oops! It looks as if Cousin Shep didn’t take kindly to Cousin Earl’s breath comment.

Stop back by tomorrow to see of they can work out their issues and use the window together or if this turns into an all-out smackdown over a breath mint.
