Cousin Earl and Cousin Shepherd both happen to find their way to the same window.
Being kitties, they both want to look out said window at the same time.
Being boy kitties, that is easier said than done. First, there will be the asking permission phase.
This is followed by the smell test to see if there has been any slacking in the bathing category. Boys are notoriously bad bathers and no one wants to sit next to that funk.
The next step is a breath check.
It looks like Cousin Earl is suggesting that due to the close proximity, Cousin Shep may need a mint.
Oops! It looks as if Cousin Shep didn’t take kindly to Cousin Earl’s breath comment.

You both made our Mum laugh until she cried about Cousin Earl’s comment on Cousin Shepherd’s breath. Perhaps more tactfully Cousin Earl could have let Cousin Shepherd have first suck of the mint instead of making him wait until he had.
