The Old Cat Tree

Hey, we’re going to be re carpeting that cat tree soon so it doesn’t go into the junk pile.

Ashton: Oh my COD! You’re going to do WHAT to my cat tree?

Ashton_Newton_cat_tree_02_sm

Newton: Calm down, she said they would re carpet the tree instead of getting rid of it

Ashton: Get rid of it? This is the only place I will let some people pet me!

Newton: That’s why they’re planning to recover it, even though it’s older than any of us.

Ashton: *whew*

Ashton_Newton_cat_tree_01_sm

Newton But it was pretty funny to see you panic like that.

Ashton_Newton_cat_tree_03_sm

Newton: Your eyes were THIS big!

Ashton_newton_cat_tree_04_yawn_sm

Ashton: You did not just make fun of me. I know where you sleep at night.

Newton: Umm… uh-oh.

MOL! You kitties are lucky your human is fairly handy. My human couldn’t re-carpet a cat tree to save her life, and if she did, it would be the sorriest looking thing ever.

Our Mommy added carpet to our NEW cat tree. AT THE BOTTOM of the tree. Apparently she didn’t want the slightly exposed screws to scratch the floor. Hrummpf.

You might want to sleep with one of your BIG eyes OPENED tonight, Newton. MOL.

We have to vacuum our various trees a lot, to try to keep them in shape.

I hope the new carpet goes with their fur!

Whoa! You dodged a bullet there. Ashton, is your claw stuck in that sisal? Mine does that all the time and scares TW who’s afraid I’ll pull me whole claw out.

Ashton, glad your tree is sticking around and getting a face lift too. That will be fun to have new carpet to sharpen the claws on. You all have a great Saturday.

Just went you got your perch the way you like it, it’s being “renovated”. Maybe you’ll like the new textures even more.
