Getting Ready for the Road

This week, the head peep is headed to the BlogPaws pet blogging and social media and the Cat Writers Association conference. Yes, she is attending two conferences at the same time.

There’s a lot of packing to be done when she will be attending awards dinners for two organizations!

Pierre: This is an unauthorized suitcase.

Newton: Move your stripes, Pierre. I have to help pack now.

Newton: Don’t worry, I’m going to make sure she packs everything she needs, including me.

Our friends who follow us on Facebook may have seen that Pierre was supervising some kind of a project to create gifts from Ashton’s Chicken Emporium.

Ashton gave them her approval and they are ready to go now.

Newton: I want to go, too. Start pulling! I heard that it’s a long way to South Carolina.

Are you sure, Newton? There will be lots of other dogs and even some cats there.

Newton: Dogs? Maybe I’ll just take care of watchcat duties at home instead.

My human is excited about your human’s trip to BlogPaws – because she will be bringing books and bookmarks for Rescued Volume 2! She can’t wait to hear about all the goings on and is sorry she will miss it.

She’s excited about Rescued 2 and the bookmarks, too. It’s her first book signing! Ashton isn’t the professional you are, Summer, and she wasn’t feeling cooperative for photos with books and bookmarks for this blog post. We’re still working on those for a separate post coming soon.

We know that your human is going to have such a fun time, Pierre, Newton, and Ashton. We also know that your human would have been utterly lost without your help in packing. Purrs!

Wow, that is a large suitcase. Looks like your mom is going to be away for a gazillion years. Who’s going to feed you?

Our mom is jealous of people who go to Blog Paws, she wishes someday she can go too.

Whoa! TW doesn’t have a big suitcase like that. She has a bunch of small PTUs. Hope they have fun.
