Wordless Wednesday: Get Me Outta Here Edition
(Don’t worry… Ashton is fine. She just needed her ladylike anal glands expressed and to get her innoculations. She says she will gladly eat extra fiber to avoid another trip to the vet.)
Oh Ashton! You poor thing. That sure does not sound like fun. Whenever we are upset, we like to hide our heads under Mom and Dad’s arm just like that. Sending purrs. XO, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
yoW! Ashton, our hearts go out to you! we’re glad you had a good vet check-up, despite the indignities and other assorted torture ๐ our mom’s cat that came before us had anal gland trouble and once when the vet expressed them, shot the goop across the room and on the wall, mol!
ANYTHING is better than a trip to the vet! Right, Ashton?
Oh no! Hope you are safe home now ๐
Purrs xx
Athena and Marie
MOL Ashton I know the feeling when you go in you want out…until you see where ‘out’ is!
Glad to see your visit was short and sweet
Hugs madi your bfff
Sorry you have to get your glands expressed, Ashton. They has to do mine, too, and it’s no fun.
Purrs,
Carmine
Oh boy, we hope you made it out of there safe!
My kitty always was so much happier after visiting the vet for her glands. Hopefully you won’t need to see the vet for awhile!
We hope the vet was gentle with you Ashton – and hope you were given lots of treats and chicken when you got back home.
Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
Oh noooooo…. not the vet. Hope you are home by now and everything is okay.
Have a good day.
hugs, Bugsy and Knuckles
Poor little girl! I hope you’re feeling better now. {{{hugs}}}
Sorry you had to go to the vet….My kitty brothers dont like going, but we dogs LOVE it. They can be so silly. Happy WW!
We hope that everything is ok. You are so gorgeous and remind us of a Kitty that we had many years ago.
Aacckk! Nicki doesn’t want to see this, he had his anal glands expressed yesterday. (He goes every 3 months.)
So he’s especially sorry that Ashton had to have it done too.
Unfortunately, Nicki doesn’t like pumpkin and he gets only 2 TBSP of kibble a day, so the human’s not sure what to do about extra fibre!
I know it doesn’t help but I have to go back to the Vet for a weigh in. Hope I haven’t lost anymore but Mom is afraid I have

Sounds like a not good day Ashton.
Oh no! Um, how did you know that she needed that? You poor little girlcat.
Poor Ashton! At least it is over now. I have a similar problem but I eat Royal Canin Fiber Response and all is well, plus it is yummy.
Oh man, Ashton! What a pain in the anal glands that was!
Aw, Ashton! I hope you got some treats when you got home!

I would eat the fiber food too if I was Ashton. I’m glad to hear she is doing well ๐ Going to the vet is never fun.
Oh Ashton, so sorry you had to go visit the V. E. T. Hope you sang a good Song of Our People on the way there. Hope you feel better now though.
Marty
We hope you were given some yummies for putting up with a visit to the vet!
