Ashton: I did this all last week, waiting for the head peep to get home. Waiting. All. Week. The manpeep fed me and scritched me, but it’s not the same.
Ashton: But she’s back! And she smells like OTHER CATS!
Ashton: She says she will have stories from her trip to see friends and those other cats, too, later this week once she has rested from the long drive. Do you think I should forgive her about the other cats thing?
Well, if I had been there, she would have smelled like me too! I can’t wait to hear about the cats that did show up – some of them are pals!
You should forgive her, Ashton, because if she’s like our mom, she brought you home lots of cool stuff. And she didn’t bring home any strange cats. 🙂

You know that your mom didn’t just see other cats, she spent five days in a room with three kittens. We think a bit of the cold shoulder is in order. But we know she missed you and that she has lots of good “stuff” for you. Our mom really enjoyed being able to see and visit with Mom Julie. We were excited to meet your Mom and can vouch for the fact that she wasn’t with any other cats. Well, that’s not totally accurate!
Ashton, we have that problem every time our mom goes to Petsmart where they have alien cats for adoption! We’re sure you’re glad yours is back at last.
