Wand Toy Lesson

Cupcake: Hi Mr. Pierre!

Pierre: I’m kind of busy up here, kid. There’s a new wand toy in the house.

Pierre: You could learn a lot from watching me, you know. Wand toys take a lot of attention. You have to track them with your ears and your whiskers.

Pierre: Watch patiently until the time is right. That time it wasn’t close enough.

Pierre: When the time is right, you reach out and use your claws to grab the wand toy.

Pierre: Get it in both paws so it can’t get away.

Pierre: Then bring it in for the kill.

Pierre: This kind of skill takes years to perfect.

Cupcake: Can I start practicing now?

Pierre: Not yet. I’m not done. I’ll let you know when it’s your turn.

Cupcake: OK. I have a feeling I’m going to be down here a while.

Poor Cupcake! She just wants to play! You are an expert though, Pierre … I still think you should be nice enough to convince her to be your minion … imagine if Newton had to deal with BOTH of you!
