Ashton: You’ll never believe who happened by the other day.

Lone_deer02_sm

It’s one of our deer friends! As long as I was quiet, she didn’t pay any attention to me at all.

Lone_deer01_sm

Did you see THAT?

Ashton_did_you_see_that_sm

One of our neighbors is feeding the neighborhood deer. I worry that someone might take advantage of their trusting an easy meal to hurt them, but so far, they’re coming to visit several nights every week.

Lone_deer03_sm

The head peep is giving up on the garden entirely as long as they are in the area, but it’s worth it to have such good viewing on the cat TV!

We think your grass must be very tasty as the deer seems to enjoy grazing on it.

Oh deer! We have more deer in our neighborhood than squirrels. And that’s saying a lot!

Deer are so fun to watch. I fear that someone might take advantage, too. One of our neighbors puts out a bunch of corn and other yummy food for the deer in fall, just so he can sit up in a fort and well.. you see where this is going. Seems to take any “sport” out of it. Great view you have, love Deer TV.

You are so lucky. Mom and Dad see deer quite often when they are riding their bike. Even though lots live only a couple blocks from here by the river, none have ever found their way to our yard. Hope they do someday. Enjoy your extra special TV. XO, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
