Neighbor cat: Oh, hi!
Newton: Hi, neighbor! How are you today? Do you want to play a game?
Ashton: * grrrrrrrrrrrr *

Neighbor cat: I’m fine. How are you? I’m just passing through as I make my rounds. I didn’t expect anyone to be here.
Newton: We’re enjoying the screened porch. We aren’t out here often, so I’m not surprised you didn’t expect us.
Ashton: * grrrrrrrrrrrrr *

Ashton: * SCREE! *
Newton: Holy cat, Ash. Who taught you to talk like that? It isn’t ladylike at all!

Neighbor Cat: I’ll just be going…
Newton: But don’t you want to play a game?
Ashton: I told HIM!

The head peep is away at a conference, learning new things with around with a bunch of veterinarians, so if you don’t see us commenting on other blogs this week, it’s all her fault. We just hope she doesn’t come back smelling like the vet…

Oh how nice that your neighbor stops by to say hi.
Well, I guess not everybody can be sociable!
Did you get out the wrong side of your beds?
Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
You told that neighbor off….he seemed really nice though. Hope the Head Peep has fun at the conference.
The Florida Furkids
Ashton, that is telling that kitty kat. You need to keep everyone straight in the neighborhood. Hope Mom learns a lot with all the veterinarians. You all have a great day.
That is a hilarious sequence! We can certainly understand your attitude Newton, as you never know about these outsiders….!
Ashton, we woulda told that visitor the same thing!
It’s okay, Ashton…that’s pretty much how Mudpie talks to neighbor kitties too LOL
Great guarding of the house, Newton!
You tell him, Ashton! Girl power! (p.s. We can’t wait to read your story in Rescued 2!)
We rarely get any intruders now that our neighbor kitty Sparky has moved to Florida. Occasionally some other neighbor cat will cross through our yard, but not often. Hope Mom Julie gets home soon. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
holy smokes…nothing like yelling at the neighbors….
hope the head peep comes back smarter but still smelling like herself
Well, that went well MOL!
You sure did tell him, Ashton! We have neighborhood cats that come up to our door and windows often. I don’t have any guard kitties like you, though, Ashton. My kitties are all more like Newton and like to fraternize with the outsiders.
Your neighbor cat has some super intense eyes!
P.S.: Check out our post from yesterday. It features some pictures of Rosie using some of your tips!
Ashton, nice job telling that neighbor cat off! That’s what we would have done too!!!
Your neighbor seems nice. Ashton, I think Annie would do the same as you (she growls if someone knocks on the door), and Newton, I think Pierre would be friendly like you.
You said it Ashton!
Have a super week…
Noodle and crew
Miss Ashton the visitor kitty took YOU very seriously!
*winks* from Mr Jinx!
Awww that poor kitty probably just wanted to be friends with you…his tail looked sad. That is so cool that your human is at a conference with Vets! Love your human!
I hope she comes back smelling like swag..
I think Ashton successfully conveyed that she prefers no visitors. lol
It is nice to have friendly neighbors.
I think he got the message, Ashton.
We’re not very social with our outdoor neighbors either.
We’re not sure how we’d react if we had a kitty visitor outside our door.
Ashton has the right idea. MOL!
