Turning on the Cute

Ashton: Is that a treat you have there? It sure looks like one. I can tell you want to let me have some, don’t you?

What do you mean, I need to wait for dinner? I’m practically wasting away here! I’m going to take the last of my strength and wave my paw at you to show you how much I want that treat. Humans always think the waving paw is super-cute.

Do you think it worked?

Ashton learned the paw wave last year and uses it every time she thinks it will help her get a treat.

Our mom says Ashton would weight elevenity million tons if he lived here and begged like that. She’s a sucker for cute, begging cats.
