Pierre: Whatever. The bottom bunk is better anyhow.
Pierre: When we’re having a cold snap, my body heat makes this a toasty-warm spot between the chair and the bottom of the desk. Besides, I can kick you out of the top bunk whenever I want. I’m oldest.
Newton: Age sure doesn’t make you less cranky, Pierre. Did you say the bottom bunk is warmer? Hmm… maybe I need to stage a bottom bunk takeover sometime soon.

We think that’s why our little sister Viola likes sleeping on a chair under the dining table, too. She’s one little hot potato normally and her body heat creates a warm zone around her. So far, no one’s staged a takeover here yet. Gotta keep your eyes peeled for such a thing!

It sounds like some mischief is about to take place! Maybe you could both fit on the bottom bunk together. Cuddling makes everything much warmer. My kitties would see these “bunks” as a pawsome place to have a good game of whappy paws.
