The Cat TV Report

Pierre: There’s been a lot of action on cat TV recently, so I thought I’d bring you up to date on what I’ve been watching. Right now, I’m watching the spillover of the Great Pigeon Invasion of 2015 at the neighbor’s bird feeder.

Pierre watches cat TV

The sand hill cranes didn’t appreciate the Great Pigeon Invasion of 2015 in the bird feeder either.

I’m pretty sure the pigeon got the message loud and clear!

The sand hill celebrated their victory over the pigeons.

Did you notice something in the background of the photo of the sand hill cranes? Let’s take a closer look.

gator_neighbor_wmIt’s spring, a time when some of our scarier-looking cat TV visitors make an appearance. This guy is a regular visitor in the spring, but he is always disappointed because no lady alligators live around here.

It’s also the time of year when one of our other regular visitors does a lot of showing off.

wild turkey shows off

There was a ladyturkey on the other side of the pond ignoring this guy’s impressive display. Better luck next time, buddy.

It’s also kitten season… for birds, too. Our local family of ducks is growing up. It’s amazing how fast they get to be almost as big as their parents. It seems like only yesterday that they were yellow and fuzzy.

That’s the news from cat TV for now. I’ll keep watching, and I’ll bring you updates again soon!

You have spectacular TV there! We get flyover sand hill cranes in the spring and fall but they don’t ever land around our house. We could use them for our stupid pigeon problem!
