Take Your Cat to Work Day

Newton: There has been an injustice, and we need to talk about it.

Newton is displeasedToday is take your dog to work day. If you want to take your dog to work, go ahead, don’t let me stop you. But this is species discrimination.

Take your cat to work dayCats can be very helpful at work. We can take dictation.

Newton writingGive us a red pen, and we can proofread your writing.

Pierre works from homeWe’re good with computers, too. Though we do find it kind of hard to open the lid of a laptop without a little help.

Pierre with laptopAnd we’re great at mailroom operations.

Newton with stampsEspecially receiving. Did you say you received a lot of boxes at work? We’re great with those.

Pierre in boxBut you know… I think it might be better just to take your dog to work after all. I have some important business to tend to here while you’re gone, anyhow.

We are SO behind you on this, Newton! Dogs shouldn’t be the only ones that have all the fun…though the mom says going to work really isn’t that much fun.

mom says she too heard on the interwebs that yesterday was take your cat to work day. we suggested she celebrate by interpreting it as take your foster kittens to work day, but she claims her boss says he is allergic to cats ๐Ÿ™‚

Cats are discriminated against all the time, Newt. But I think you have the right idea in just napping all day ๐Ÿ™‚

I agree, Cats should get to go to work with us too. I would bring cats on take your daughter/son to work day because my kittes are my children. Luckily, we don’t leave the house for work so everyone is happy.

Honestly, cats tend to be happier just staying in their own territory, which they love <3

Going somewhere where the natives may be hostile is just unnerving and scary. Of course we could step by step expand our territory – first to the car, then to the car driving, then eventually, when it is safe, to the work place ๐Ÿ˜€

You know, we’ve always thought the same thing too! And you should see our sister Olivia with staplers and thumb drives! And then we got to your “important business” photo and we remembered our dad saying he had no napping spot at his office. We think we have important business to attend to here at home too. MOL!

We know cats would be much more helpful at work than woofies. Carmine can send emails and do all kinds of stuff on the laptop!

we think we prefer to stay home and nap all day. Our mom would like a “send a cat to work in your place” day or a “you be the kitty” day ๐Ÿ˜€ Although today mom took a phone conference from home and Pip got to contribute, hee hee!

Yeah… well, other than the part where we would have to be captured and put into evil cat carriers, then have to ride in a car without air conditioning to go to a place that has no windows with sunshine to watch birds and nap next to, we’re all over it! MOL… in our house, we already rule the world, so let the dogs have their one day at work. And work… who wants to work?
