Ashton: You have seen lots of photos of me on the cat tree, but do you know how I get up there? Sure, you kitties might jump, but I don’t like to jump anywhere. So here’s my method: First, I climb up the cat tree a little.
When I’m high enough, I fling myself sideways.
Then I slide across onto the platform. Success… and a sunny spot to lounge in, too!
Do you have a funny way of getting up onto furniture at your house?

And that is why WE love our sisal rope columns…
Ashton very very inventive and safe way to get on they great cat tree.
Mom says I was born with jumping beans in my feet.
hugs madi your bfff
You’ve got a great technique!!
The Florida Furkids
I climb all the way to the top on my tree π
MOL! That is a pretty creative way to get on the cat tree, Ashton. Me always has to put my front paws on the first platform of the tree and peek over it before mes hops up there. The Mom says it is cute, but hers wonders why mes always looks up there first.
That’s a clever way to get up your tree, Ashton. We usually just climb ours. Sometimes Wally leaps up in a couple of jumps.
That is fantastic! You are so creative, Ashton!
That is a wonderful technique Ashton! I just take a run and a leap!
Clearly, you’ve got a system that’s workin’ for you. EXCELLENT.
Purrs,
Nissy
We like the old go higher and then jump down to where we want. Einstein does a modified climb and then leaps instead of slides. Meow
Is there a reason you don’t like jumping Ashton?
You are so cute. We don’t have a cat tree. But both of us like to jump.
Aww, that’s flinging with style! You GO, Ashton!
ashton…we due… but we canna reely put inta print de hows….. coz de food serviss gurl reedz yur blog…. !
π
I use that method sometimes too!
Daiquiri can’t quite make the jump to the second platform, so she takes the shortcut off of the coffee table. of course, she then can’t figure out how to get on the top platform – she stands up but doesn’t quite have the lift yet π
That’s a creative safe way to climb the tree Ashton ! Purrs
Good technique! Pop loves it when I scurry up my tree. I actually climb the sisal to the top, not that itβs all that tall.
Ashton, I have to tell you. My mommy sure does think you are the cat’s meow! Yup. It’s true.
We are furry impressed! Less chance of falling.
I have to claw my way up our tree. My mom says it’s because I’m chubby, but maybe I just *like* to do it that way.
Safety first! We bet you have less than purrfect depth perception and your solution is GENIUS!
Ashton, Your style make me & mom smile…super cute, Buddy π
XOX
PS : Thanks sooo. Uh for purring for me & grandpa
Where is my comment ?
That’s awesome, you are very creative Ashton!
not as funny as yours! MOL! Love, Cody
Maxwell: *points at Faraday* yeah – the HARDEST way possible.
Actually, kind of like yours, come to think of it…! π
