Newton seems to always sleep with his front limbs in odd directions. In fact, this is quite tame for one of his poses. He has always been a fast breather since kitten hood and we think his sprawling form allows him to breathe more deeply.
Pierre has already worked himself to the point of needing to lay down to be able to continue the laborious task of fishing on the iPad.
He is now watching more and fishing less. Eventually the fish swims unhindered and gets taken away.
The mighty fisherman, exhausted by his toil, must rest until the next unsuspecting iPad user comes home. Then, the cycle will begin again.
Whenever a reusable shopping bag comes into the house, the cats think it is a new fort just for them. This one hasn’t been used as much so the sides are stiffer than some, so Pierre can’t snuggle all the way inside like he can with others.
Talia comes by for a turn, but Pierre watches from a safe distance to make sure she gets her fair time and nothing extra.
Even Newton makes a quick stop to see if there is anything interesting happening, but he was distracted by his photo being taken, then by another object in the other room and took off.
Mom says they are spoiled and have too many toys (is that really possible?!) although if you look over Pierre’s shoulder you may see a few of his favorites laying about. This new toy was originally given to P but Talia took it almost right away and proceeded to lick it for quite some time. Once Pierre got it back, seen here, I don’t think he was going to give it up again without a fight.
