Newton’s Bath Chicken

Newton: Look what I have! I stole it from Ashton’s Chicken Emporium.

Newton: As long as I stay behind this green thing, the little chicken can’t see me.

Ashton: HEY! Wait, that’s the chicken from the place the humans get clean. They take a bath with it.

Newton: It’s mine now. And see, I can take a bath with it.

Ashton: But that isn’t how humans take baths. They walk under the vertical water with that chicken.

Newton: OMC! I’m not walking under vertical water. Forget that!

Newton: You can have it for your chicken emporium, Ashton.

Ashton: Yes! I win!

Ashton: It’s easier to outsmart boycats than it is to wrestle things away from them.

I wish Binga were that easy to outsmart… sadly, she’s not a boycat.

Hahahaha! Oh, Summer – we love you. Okay, Bear’s a boy cat so he’s not laughing … but Momma thinks you’re right 🙂

Ohhh that looks like a fine toy. I need to have mom pick up one of those for me.
AS for the bathroom remodel……………….this is our first and last experience remodeling. Our master bath was the 33 year old original with tub/shower combo.
We are planning on staying here several more years and thought a walkin shower would better suit us as we age in place. Actually the master bath remodel wasn’t as bad as expected. The worst so far has been the repair to the ceiling upstairs that was caused by leaking around the chimney. We have the ‘dreaded popcorn ceilings’ all over…so spraying that area and a few other areas that had to be repaired has been the worst and messiest.
    Hugs Madi Mom

In our multi-cat home, it’s not so much outsmarting as it is, first come, first serve!

IS THAT A TASTY WHOLE CHICKEN??!? I LOVE tasty whole chickens! And what’s that about boy cats? Hmph. We aren’t outsmarted … err … much. Even I must concede that was a genius play Ashton. Don’t tell Newton though … we boys gotta stick together against the female tyrants 😉 ~Bear Cat

We don’t have any boy cats in our house, but if we ever do, I will be sure to take your advice about outsmarting them!
