Limerick Day, Ashton Style

Limerick Day is every May 12, in honor of Edward Lear, who popularized the form of poem.

Ashton: To celebrate, I wrote my very own limerick for the first time!

Ashton on white sofa

There once was a kitty name Ashton
Who found chicken such a distraction.
She would eat it all day
if she had her way
so she’s on a very strict ration.

Are you writing a limerick for Limerick Day, too?

A most excellent limerick. Mauricio wrote one for St. Patrick’s Day, which was our very first (and only) ever. They are lots of fun. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo

Good one! Bravo! Thank you for stopping by our blog and commenting over the past few weeks. Mom promises to get her act together and start visiting and commenting again. She is still blue over losing Lily.
