Light as a Feather

Newton: What is this? It smells pawesome!

Newton and feather

Newton: And WHOA, it blows away in the ceiling fan if you let go to fast. I’ve got to hang onto it more carefully.

Newton: You can’t escape me, feather!

Newton: *SIWSH*

Pierre: Oh, hey, Newt. What’s that? It looks kind of fun!

Newton: Oh, no, you don’t. This is my feather. Go find your own bird and knock it down to get your own.

Pierre: You knocked down a bird?

Newton: There’s a feather here, isn’t there?

Newton_and_Feather_04_sm

Newton: Mine, all mine! Safe from my thieving brother, too. I’ll be able to play with it for hours while he’s off looking for a bird to knock down.

Chris loves feathers too. It must be the smell of the bird.

Feathers are fun! Sometimes the pheasants leave me feathers to play with.

Whoa! Did you really steal that from a bird? Autumn used to have a huge feather that one of Gramma’s friends gave her from her pet bird. I still have part of it. TW refuses to bring me feathers from the pigeons outside cos she sez they’ll give me germans.

Mom has been finding way too many feathers in our house, either right before or after discovering the bird. Misty May has been very naughty lately with catching birds and sneaking them through the cat door for her sisfurs to play with. Mom is quite disappointed in her behavior, and she may be confined to the house if it doesn’t stop. Have fun, you two! Hope you will join us for our Sunday Selfies Blog Hop. XO, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
