It’s National Lazy Day. We know you are busy cats and may not be able to think of what to do on a day dedicated to taking a break, so we have five suggestions:
1. Stay in Bed
Why be in a hurry to get out of bed if you’re being lazy? It’s the most comfortable spot in the house, so take a load off and lounge around a bit.
2. Binge Watch TV
A long stretch of time with nothing to do with it? Grab your remote control and binge watch! Just remember that if you let the humans take the remote, you’ll end up watching courtroom dramas or police procedural, so hang on tight to it so you can watch nature shows instead.
3. Skip Your Exercise Workout
Your training for the kitchen-to-bedroom triathlon will wait today. Being lazy means you can put your exercise routine aside today and relax.
4. Read a Good Book
Haven’t you missed having time to lose yourself in a good book? Today is the perfect day for it! If you need a suggestion about a cat book, we have some favorites.
5. Take a Nap
What else would a cat do on a lazy day but take a nap? It’s what we do best!
My human sometimes calls me the laziest Somali cat she’s ever met… so I don’t think I’ll have a problem coming up with ideas today!

Happy Lazy Day! If I don’t grab the remote Pop only wants to want those ER shows on the Discovery channel. Ewww! Wish I’d read this earlier cos I spent too much time running around.
Mum did not know it was Lazy Day. She did her nice walk, went to meet with the green paper guy and he bought her lunch. Then she got lazy, reading and all.
Lazy days are wonderful! I wish I could enjoy more lazy days.
