Ladycat Monday

We interrupt this mancat Monday for a brief interlude with Ashton on the head peep’s lap. We’re pretty sure that Ash was dreaming of Mr. Jinx, because she was purring really loudly when this photo was taken.

Ashton_has_a_lap

Shortly after this photo was taken yesterday, we discovered that Ashton has a strange sore on her stomach. Ashton seems to feel fine, but the head peep is worried. Ashton will be going to see the vet as soon as we can get an appointment today, if the head peep can get hold of her. Ash is so angry about being held to be examined at home, we aren’t sure we will be able to get her into a PTU. We’ll report back if we can get her in to be looked at.

Update: Ashton is home. The vet says that she has a staph infection, and she will be on two weeks of antibiotics to try to clear it up. It was an eventful day getting her to the vet, and we’ll post more about it tomorrow. Thanks to everyone for your concern and purrs.

Ashton….sweetie it is for your own good. Be brave. I had a mani-pedi last night which I hate because I have to be held like a baby in my Dad’s arms while mom plays with my tootsies.Hugs madi your bfff
