Hurrying Up a Late Dinner

Pierre: Dinner is late! I had better find out what is causing the problem.

Pierre: I found the problem. The head peep is still doing things with her computer instead of being in the kitchen feeding us. Don’t worry, I can fix this. Do you see this button in front of me? I know what it does.

Pierre: I’m starting to lean on this elbow. You might want to get in the kitchen now before I make you make that squawking noise.

We’ve never done that… but I’ve written a few crazy things (that sadly did not get posted), while my human had temporarily stepped away from her computer.

When I had my laptop, my cat Jake would either turn my display upside down or make the print really, really tiny. I’m sure your head peep ran to feed you, Pierre, as she should. 😉

My human uses a laptop, it is always so warm, what better place to take a nap. the keyboard is kinda bumpy and it beeps , then I get shooed off . I like to walk across the keyboard too. Then Mom needs to send a ‘sorry the cat walked on my keyboard message’ – Mischief (appropriate name say my human)

You sure know how to solve a problem, Pierre! Mudpie has never turned off the computer (or complained about a late meal, for that matter), but she has hit things on the keyboard that I’ve had to google in order to figure out how to undo them!

You are one smart fellow, Pierre! Around here, Thimble is the computer techie. She has been known to stomp on the power button of this here human’s laptop, and do all sorts of other computer tricks that this here human has no idea how to undo. Kitties gotta do what kitties gotta do in order to get food in those bowls!

Life is tough for a kitty when their humans don’t keep to the schedule! Anything is fair game to get their attention!

Brilliant! We have one of those buttons, ours is even orange and bright and just screams, “Don’t lean on me or else…*poof*…. all your computer stuff disappears!” Our future dinner schedule looks very promising now.

Yep. Bear’s done it to me quite a few times. If only I’d listened when he was asking (relatively) nicely …

You’re brilliant, Pierre ! Pixie has been able to freeze the laptop once or twice by walking on the keyboard. Purrs

My old PC had a rather prominent power button and every time Eric jumped on the desk he would put his foot on it on the way up and shut the computer down. I put a chair next to it after a while and he would get up that way, and the problem was solved.

Good job Pierre!!!!! Ha! That will teach her! Cody doesn’t do that….when I take too long to give him food or treats he just starts chewing EVERYTHING in sight….he knows it makes me go berserk and usually, eventually I will head towards the kitchen. Pierre and Cody are too smart!

HAH! I’ve never did that but we’ve had the power cut out and I’ve heard that scream from TW. What’s up with late dinner?
