Houston, We Have a Problem

Pierre: The head peep wants to make the bed with fresh sheets. I like the bed unmade. She thinks that being bigger means that she will get her way.

(You can watch directly on YouTube if the video doesn’t display above)

Pierre: Now do you know who’s in charge around here?

Pierre lounges among crumpled sheets

Good.

You hissed at your mom ? Pierre, you cannot do that, even if she should know that she could wait to make the bed ! Don’t forget she has the keys of the food cupboard ! Purrs

Goodness gracious Pierre! Hissin’ at a mommy… The Swiss Cats is right, she’s the Keeper of the Foods… Have you ever tried playing Cave while she’s trying to make the bed… that’s fun to do!

Pierre, you are just like me. I get mad when the mom tries to make me get off the bed when she changes the sheets…”whispering*…but I’ve never hissed at her…but I’ve meowed at her pretty loud. ~Wally

Yeah… Well… Apparently the head peep is wrong ’bout that. I’m just amazed she didn’t give up after the first hiss. You really had to stick to your guns, huh? MOUSES!

    Purrs,
    Nissy

PS. My peep would have given up after ’bout five seconds but then, my peep is a bit of a wuss.

That’s pretty aggressive behavior and wonder it’s being reinforced. Does that happen every time you make the bed? Do you do wait until Pierre leaves to make it? Counter-conditioning can easily turn it around if you want.
