It’s Caturday, and we’re hanging out under the tree.
Ashton: I like it under here because it’s dark, and because the head peep can’t reach me.
Why don’t I want her to reach me? Well… earlier this week, there was an incident with my new collar. The head peep got home, and I was pretty freaked out. It was obvious I had part of my collar stuck in my mouth at some point, and it was soaked with kitty spit.
The peeps say there’s a design flaw, and that this collar is missing a loop that would keep it from getting like this.
I say that it was missing a key feature: Me not wearing it. It’s a much nicer collar now that I’m not in it. That’s right. I’m nude, I and I plan to stay that way. (Don’t worry, Mr. Jinx, I’m being modest about it.)
Peeps are stubborn, though. The head peep went out and bought me another collar. She says it’s made out of soy. Isn’t soy something you eat? I already tried eating my collar, and that didn’t turn out so well.
I told Newton that he could have the collar, but he said that he doesn’t wear girly colors. He’s no help at all! So I’m staying under the tree where the peeps can’t reach me. (Well, except for mealtimes.) They aren’t putting that collar on me!

Sweetie – you would look very sweet in that collar… Cute as a button… Come on… be a good girl and let your Mom try it on you.
Enjoy your tree. It is beautful!

Ashton we would have scratched and clawed and spat if we had been made to wear a collar – you look so much prettier naked!
Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
It is also much safer to go without a collar. Those darn collars can get hung up on things and then you might choke even if they are the safe collars. But that is just our opinion. Take care everyone.
What a frightening experience! Don’t blame you one bit for hiding under the tree. Oh my, look at all those cool toys dangling from the bottom of the tree. WHEE!
Oh oh. Boomer sometimes gets his collar stuck in his mouth (the silly boy!). If Mommy isn’t around to “save” him, he will give it a strong tug and the collar snaps open and he runs around nekkid! And then Mommy has to go on a collar hunt. Heehee.
We think your new collar is very pretty and we hope you’ll let your Mommy put it on you, Ashton. 🙂
Ashton you are the best looking present under the tree.
Whew that was a scary collar accident
Hugs madi your bfff
They need to make chicken-flavored collars.
Then and only then will all be right in the world.

That first lovely pic could be your Christmas card!
Ashton mom had a photo shoot with Mr Jinx and she thinks you will like when she edits the photos. You do look very beautiful and festive under that tree. We are all *gasp* nude kitties here. Mom tried collars once back in 2004 and Boo nearly strangled herself. End of collar stories.
Jeez, Ashton, that musta been scary. That happened to me once…when I first started wearing a collar. I was trying to get it off. And I like to hide under the tree too, whether there was a incident or not. Looks like you’ve got some fun things to play with there!

We say: a nekkid kitty is a HAPPY kitty!
Say, expect an email from Molly the Wally, we nominated you for a Sunday featured post!
Stick to your guns, Ashton. I totally freak out if I even think the peeps are gonna put something around my neck. They think that something bad happened before I was socialized with getting something caught around my neck. Naked is beautiful.
Oh that is scary, we don’t blame you for being hesitant about another collar. We love that picture of you under the Christmas tree, it is gorgeous!
