Flashback Friday: Holidays Past

Today’s flashback takes Pierre back to the holiday season of 2005, where he was very helpful during the wrapping of gifts. (Don’t worry, he wasn’t allowed in a plastic bag unsupervised!)

As you saw yesterday, he has always been chief taste tester of all trees in the house. This was the year he established that important role.

As you can imagine, all of this hard work wore him out, so he spent a lot of the holiday season exactly where you’ll find him now: resting under the tree.

You get to tree taste and still get the tree up every year. We tree taste ONCE and now we have to watch our furriends enjoy their tree. Life’s just not fair.

What a great helper you were, Pierre…and yes, all that decorating is exhausting! We’re glad you got to enjoy the fruits of your labor with a nap under the tree.

We have Christmas without a tree or even without an artificial decorative plant! That is really not a problem. We have Christmas with the cats!

A Christmas tree just isn’t a Christmas tree without a cat sleeping underneath it! …or a cat batting a few ornaments around!
