Pierre: Every once in a while the head peep says something crazy like “no one plays with that toy, maybe I should donate it.” Don’t humans understand that you just aren’t playing with that toy this week… or even this year?

Pierre: Kitties, when that happens, there’s only one thing to do: play with that toy like it’s brand-new and loaded with catnip.

Pierre:ย If you can add a little drama to your playing, that’s good, too. This is the time for you to make those kind of embarrassing sounds you sometimes make when you play really hard. Humans can’t resist those.

Pierre: Don’t forget the really cute moves, too. My humans totally fall for anything with the upside-down head, so that’s a great distraction.

Pierre: Soon, your human will have the camera out and be taking photos instead of talking about getting rid of your favorite toy. You win!

Pierre: Managing humans is a lot of work! Once your toy is save, take a well-deserved break.

We hide our toys, so my human can’t find them to get rid of them!
Oh Pierre, those a great tips and some my kitties could definitely use!
We do that too, Pierre. It really keeps the humans guessing…and keeps them from throwing out any of our toys.
Sometimes, I don’t want to give my Momma the satisfaction of knowing how much I enjoy my toys … but when I see her eyeing one of my toys for retirement … I make sure it becomes well hidden so she completely forgets about it until she finds it a couple years later in the oddest spot ๐ ~Bear Cat
a very good plan. our mom puts toys back in the basket when she pulls out the evil vacuum so things are like new when they are “rediscovered”
Pierre you got that down pat!! I do the SAME THING!! As soon as I hear the word “donate” I play like there is no tomorrow! Love, Cody
dood…N due knot forget ta mark de calendar that thiz toy getz played with again on 1/25/18 !!! yur upside down head shot iz awesum ~~~ ๐ โฅโฅโฅ
You are so smart Pierre!!
I can always tell when Jack rediscovered a beloved toy.. he has to tell everyone about it
Gulp! *taking notes* We have some toys that aren’t scheduled to be played with until….. *checking calendar* …. 2019! Yeow!
Good advice!!!
I try to take turns with my Yeow!!! sardines so none look too gross and spit petrified otherwise mom will toss them
Hugs madi your bfff
Those are wonderful tips, Pierre ! Purrs
Givin’ away your toys? MOUSES!
Humans don’t really get rid of toys, do they??? Now I’m going to have nightmares… –Mudpie
We don’t show our humans where we hid our toys.
Humans should only donate their stuff, not kitty items ๐
That’s sure fun! Throw out toys? I still have my very first toy from when I came home!
You’re lucky if you only hear that word donate referring to your toys. If I don’t use my cat trees every day TW talks about donating it. Ms. Ellen has it right.
That happens here, too. And it happens a lot with toys that our mom thinks we’ve “wrecked.” Of course, we know she keeps dead toys for herself.
Good job saving that toy!!!

Try hiding it under the couch. If your head peep is like our mom, she’ll never move it! MOL We LOVE the last photo – you look so cute!
Don’t tell anyone but we have a secret toy vault in the basement.
And only I know the combination…oh, shoot I can’t remember the combination!
