Ashton: I know that some cats like playing inside bags. I have two perfectly good bags right here. I just prefer this one.
What? I like the crinkly sound that it makes when I move around on it. Or when I gnaw on it. There’s no need for me to go inside the bag. That just gets me pounced on, and that isn’t really my scene.
So I’m going to sit here and make a crinkle-crinkle-crinkle noise. You didn’t want quiet to go to sleep tonight, did you?
We’re having a cold snap today, and it’s our job to distract the head peep from going outside and attempting to garden this morning. So far, I think I’m doing a pretty good job.

Both of the bags look great to us! Paper bags are not common in our region, so when we see one, it’s particularly special!

Oh Ashton, you don’t know how your post touched my heart. Tara used to sleep on paper bags the exact same way, and I would bunch up the end to make a little pillow for her head. I had never seen a cat sleep on a bag that way before 🙂
Most of us prefer to do the crinkle-n-squish, too!
I like to flatten bags and sleep on top of them too rather than sleep inside them.
I never liked getting into boxes or bags cause I thought they might eat me. Recently, though, I have begun to enjoy the wonders of a box. So who knows, I might learn to love exploring bags one of these days. You sure look like you are having a good time!
Is that a Trader’s Joe bag? I used to have one of those! It was fun while it lasted.
