World Cat Day
Today is Word Cat Day! We hope you’re celebrating in style.
Pierre is celebrating with one of his favorite pastimes: cat games on the iPad.
He’s really getting into Game for Cats.
He is so intent on his game, he doesn’t notice the shadow lurking closer and closer. Then it’s too late!

Happy Belated Birthday, Cousin Shep!
In all of the excitement this weekend, we forgot to mention something… it was Cousin Shep’s birthday! He was an owner surrender at the SPCA of Central Florida, and the paperwork that his former owners filled out said that his birthday was, well, on Saturday.
He doesn’t seem to realize that we missed it. Maybe he was too busy watching birds.
We hope so, because we didn’t mean to be late in saying happy birthday, Cousin Shep! We’re glad that you came into our extended family this year!
On second thought, maybe he does know we’re late. Do you think we can pool the change from under the sofa cushions and get him some treats as a belated birthday gift?
